In fact, one in eight Americans will receive help in 2012 from food banks. And among the most needed items are sources of high quality protein.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — As the economy makes a sluggish recovery, families in Jacksonville continue to find themselves struggling with food insecurity. Florida’s Dixie Egg Company is donating 32,400 eggs to Second Harvest North Florida on April 12th at 10:00 a.m. to help these families in need- just in time for the Easter holiday.
