Second Harvest enjoys record year in 2010 with 19 million pounds of food distributed in north Florida

News Date:
January 31, 2011

Thanks to the generous support of our many donors, we were able to feed almost twice as many hungry families and children as we did in 2009. That’s right – more than 19 million pounds of food distributed to individuals and families, which represents an astounding 85 percent increase in just 12 months. Literally translated, that is enough food to create 14.6 million meals.
