Come out and support Second Harvest North Florida and help provide important resources to those in need throughout north Florida. Food donations will be accepted on Sept. 24 and 25 at the St. Johns Town Center and Orange Park Mall.
Second Harvest North Florida is teaming up with First Coast News and the United Way for the second year in a row to ensure that needy families have enough food.
The Be A Hero Food Drive will culminate with a community-wide event Sept. 24-25.
First Coast News will be at various collection sites, including the Orange Park Mall and the St. Johns Town Center.
The donations will benefit the families and children served by the agencies that Second Harvest North Florida.
The results are in from the Be A Hero Toy & Food Drive held in conjunction with First Coast News on Dec. 4 and 5, and the big winners are families in need throughout north Florida.
