16th Annual Jaguars Family Food Drive
The 16th Annual Jaguars Family Food Drive will once again help feed needy families on the First Coast. Winn-Dixie and the Jaguars team up annually by hosting the drive in Winn-Dixie stores and on a specified gameday at Jacksonville Municipal Stadium.
Each fall, the Jacksonville Jaguars partner with Winn-Dixie stores to host a food drive benefiting Second Harvest North Florida. Jacksonville-area residents can donate food in specially marked barrels at participating Winn-Dixie stores on the First Coast from Sept. 27 through Nov. 7. Additionally, the Jaguars will hold a food drive before their Oct. 18 Monday Night Football game against the Tennessee Titans at EverBank Field. Collection barrels will be set up outside Jacksonville Municipal Stadium for fans to donate nonperishable food items.
The kickoff for the 16th Annual Jaguars Family Food Drive is set for Tuesday, Sept. 28, at the Winn-Dixie store at the intersection of Beach Blvd and St. Johns Bluff Road. The event is from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
