Welcome to the 2012-2013 Citrus Gleaning Season. Your donation of citrus provides a vital, supplemental food source for those less fortunate individuals who receive support through Second Harvest North Florida or our agency partners. We have simplified this year’s registration process by providing an easy registration form, which we hope will expedite the processing of your registration request and our future communications with you about the timing of the gleaning of your property.
This year we will be using a crew of volunteers to glean your property, and it is our goal to provide you with an informed, professional, and efficient gleaning experience. We look forward to a great gleaning season this year, and we thank you in advance for your citrus donation and support to Second Harvest North Florida.
Host Site drop-off/collection areas
This year we will have 5 host sites that will serve as volunteer depots and drop off points on the morning of 1/26/13 only. If you can pick your own trees and drop off the gleaned fruit to one of these sites, that would work best. If you need our volunteers to pick your trees, please fill out the registration form below and we’ll do our best to accommodate all requests.
Registration Note: Each gleaning location must be registered separately—please do not combine gleaning sites (i.e. neighbors listed separately).
If you are interested in volunteering to help pick and pack citrus, please register here.
