The mission of Nourishment Network North Florida is to end hunger across the 17 counties it serves and reach the more than 342,000 individuals who wake up each morning feeling the effects of food insecurity. JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Nourishment Network North Florida helped deliver Christmas cheer to the residents of Mondex – a small unincorporated Flagler County community near Bunnell – on Wednesday, Dec. 21. The special holiday treat came in the form of clean drinking water, something the community hasn’t enjoyed in months. Each household received eight cases of water on the first distribution day, with the promise of more to come in the weeks ahead.

Jacksonville, Fla. – In the spirit of the season of giving, the Jacksonville Jaguars organization, on behalf of its Touchdown Club Members, donated $15,000 to Nourishment Network North Florida.  Additionally, team owners Wayne and Delores Barr Weaver made a personal donation to Nourishment Network of $12,500 for a total cash contribution of $27,500 to provide holiday meals for less fortunate families and senior citizens.  Nourishment Network is securing the food...

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - This week, the Community Safety Net Fund at The Community Foundation awarded more than $1 million in grants to 13 area organizations that provide basic services to people in need.

Included in the groups receiving funds was Nourishment Network North Florida, which benefited from $110,400 to increase food distribution by purchasing a new refrigerated box truck.

JACKSONVILLE – Lift Up America and the Jacksonville Jaguars are teamed up with Tyson Foods, Inc. to tackle one of Jacksonville’s most pressing issues -- hunger. Jacksonville Jaguars players were on hand Wednesday to help unload and distribute the 30,000 pounds of protein donated by Tyson. More than 2,000 one-of-a-kind ceramic bowls have been created around the First Coast in preparation for the 27th Annual Empty Bowls Luncheon benefiting Nourishment Network North Florida. The luncheon is set for Tuesday, Nov. 15, at the Prime Osborn Convention Center, and the ‘firing’ of the bowls is just one of many preparations already underway.
