JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The ArenaBowl XXIV Champion Jacksonville Sharks announced Friday that the team will hold a free preseason benefit scrimmage for the second consecutive year in support of Second Harvest North Florida. JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Second Harvest North Florida helped deliver Christmas cheer to the residents of Mondex – a small unincorporated Flagler County community near Bunnell – on Wednesday, Dec. 21. The special holiday treat came in the form of clean drinking water, something the community hasn’t enjoyed in months. JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - This week, the Community Safety Net Fund at The Community Foundation awarded more than $1 million in grants to 13 area organizations that provide basic services to people in need.

JACKSONVILLE – Lift Up America and the Jacksonville Jaguars are teamed up with Tyson Foods, Inc. to tackle one of Jacksonville’s most pressing issues -- hunger. More than 2,000 one-of-a-kind ceramic bowls have been created around the First Coast in preparation for the 27th Annual Empty Bowls Luncheon benefiting Second Harvest North Florida. The luncheon is set for Tuesday, Nov. 15, at the Prime Osborn Convention Center, and the ‘firing’ of the bowls is just one of many preparations already underway.
