Help distribute food at a food pantry in your neighborhood.
Today’s “Way” YOU can help fight hunger:
September marks the third annual Hunger Action Month, an opportunity to place a spotlight on the issue of domestic hunger while creating opportunities for people on the First Coast and abroad to participate in the ongoing battle against it.
The effort is sponsored by Feeding America, the national association of food banks of which Second Harvest is a member, to raise awareness for the fight against hunger - and to show people just how big a contribution they can make simply through awareness of the cause.

Second Harvest North Florida will have multiple opportunities for people to engage in the effort locally. More information is listed below:
One of the goals Second Harvest North Florida has set for the month of September is to expand its following on the social media networks Facebook and Twitter. Having a base of people who understand and are passionate about the cause of hunger will help in the ongoing battle and be critical in the effort to educate our communities. Will you join us?
Please visit the links below to join with us in the fight, and in the process all followers will have the opportunity to win fantastic prizes along the way.

No gift is too small, and every gift makes a profound difference in the lives of those among us who are facing critical needs.
