Wells Fargo announced a donation of $20,000 to be divided between Second Harvest North Florida and three other Florida food banks as part of the company’s brand rollout celebration in downtown Jacksonville on Wednesday afternoon. The event concluded a nearly three-year conversion of Wachovia Bank branches to Wells Fargo & Co. in the northeast Florida market. The visual spotlight of Wednesday’s gathering was when the Wells Fargo stagecoach rolled through Downtown Jacksonville, heralding the arrival of the brand to Northeast Florida. Rieley was a passenger in the coach, along with leaders from the other nonprofit agencies honored. The parade also included the Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University marching band and dozens of Wells Fargo volunteers.
