Second Harvest North Florida teamed with Bank of America to provide important food resources for hundreds of households in St. Johns County on Friday, June 10. Bank of America has donated $2,500, which will provide boxes of nonperishable food items, fresh food and bakery items to residents from low-income households. The first St. Johns food distribution was in Hastings on May 17, which served 300 families. The June 10 distribution also served 300 families. It was organized by the Emergency Services/Homeless Coalition of St. Johns County, a Second Harvest member agency.
