WHAT: Inaugural Faith Feeds Families Food Drive

WHEN: March 1-April 10, 2011

WHO: Any church or faith organization can participate

In your church today, one in four children is hungry. In your church today, one in six adults is hungry. And if they are not in your pews, that means there are more of them in other churches' pews somewhere in our community. We’d like to ask your help in feeding them. In fact, we are asking churches and their members across our community to come together during this season of hope and help us find food for those among us who are hungry. We are calling this program ‘Faith Feeds Families’ because we all believe that with our efforts and the blessings from above, we can stop the scourge of hunger in north Florida.

So, we’d like you to join us by holding a food drive between March 1 and April 11, 2011. Join our collective congregational effort and raise as much food as your church can. Let’s say loudly to those in need that their voices are heard and the faith community in Jacksonville is responding.
