JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The results are in from the 10th Annual Canstruction® competition at the Jacksonville Landing, and the winner among local voters was "Gnome More Hunger" – a structure made in the form of giant garden gnome by The Haskell Company.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Creativity through the use of cans and non perishable foods will be on display at the Jacksonville Landing April 29-May 13 as part of the 10th Annual Jacksonville Canstruction® competition benefiting Second Harvest North Florida.
It starts with one can. To feed the hungry. To lift the spirit. To change the world. Canstruction, a charity committed to ending hunger, is using ‘one can’ as a catalyst for change.
Approximately 100,000 pounds of food have been collected and donated to Second Harvest North Florida over the last nine years.
Canstruction-Jacksonville‘s 10th Annual Design/Build Competition puts a visual spotlight on hunger while showcasing the Jacksonville design community’s best and brightest.
Creativity through the use of cans and non perishable foods will once again be on display at the Jacksonville Main Library March 1-15 as part of the 9th Annual Jacksonville Canstruction® competition benefiting Second Harvest North Florida.
